What you need to know about a digital detox?
Since the existence of cellphones, people have been glued to their screens. Seeking online validation from people you never met before.
Every moment is an aesthetic that just deserves to be on camera.
As lovely as that sounds, think to yourself about the last time you just left your phone and went about your day. (In this day and age probably never WFH needs a smartphone device, laptop and just constantly checking your phone for updates)
When the weekend comes it’s the same cycle. But what if I told that a social media detox would change your life and the way you see things.
Start small: pick a day in the week let’s say a Sunday where you don’t touch your phone or go on your socials. You just unwind and reset for the week ahead.
It might be hard but try it. As someone who constantly has anxiety over my phone these breaks help me regulate my nervous system and think straight.
Like girl ain’t no one looking for you a day or two off won’t hurt anyone.
While taking time off a lot of reflection happend, from career decisions to self improvement habits to just changing my daily routine a lot was happening.
To be honest with you just take that day off you deserve it.
