24 Things I learnt before turning 24

Happy Wednesday to all my girlies and guylies🥺

So today is my birthday (02’ Aries baby). So much is going through my hand right now like am I really getting older.( Don’t get me wrong I think growth is important I am just looking back at my life I can say I have come far). Failed a lot but I got back up even stronger.

Firstly I would like to Thank God for this day. Like I really have 6 years till I am 30 damn (lol).

I know why you are here so let me stop rumbling and get into it.

24 things I learnt before turning 24:

  1. Be selfless at times—but only when it doesn’t cost you your peace.
  2. Learning to say NO is self-respect, not selfishness.
  3. No relationship is worth your sanity.
  4. Never compromise your happiness for temporary comfort.
  5. Stop people-pleasing—it drains you more than it fulfills you.
  6. Not everything deserves your energy or explanation.
  7. Focusing too much on romantic relationships can make you lose yourself.
  8. The right love won’t require you to shrink.
  9. Maintaining friendships takes effort, honesty, and intention.
  10. Outgrowing people is painful, but necessary.
  11. Protect your peace like it’s your full-time job.
  12. Consistency is more powerful than motivation.
  13. Self-care is more than aesthetics—it’s discipline and boundaries.
  14. Self-love is choosing yourself, even when it’s uncomfortable.
  15. You don’t have to prove your worth to anyone.
  16. Healing is not linear, and that’s okay.
  17. Your environment affects your mindset—choose it wisely.
  18. Rest is productive.
  19. Financial discipline is a form of self-respect.
  20. It’s okay to start over as many times as you need.
  21. Privacy is power—move quietly.
  22. You are allowed to change your mind.
  23. Small habits shape your entire life.
  24. Becoming “her” is really about becoming yourself.
